Just a friendly reminder, Thursday 5th November 2020 (i.e. tomorrow) is your last chance to place an order for your child's calendar art.  Please see last week's newsletter for links regarding how to order.

Also just letting you know the order form for Pizza Lunches was sent home today with children, so please check their bags.  Orders can be made on Friday, Monday and Tuesday in Te Puna Ako and Kindle 1 bay.

Sunny Season

 Okay - so that might be a bit optimistic given today's hail showers 😁.

In Term 4 we ask that all children wear sun hats when playing outside.  If you have not already done so could you please ensure that your child has a sun hat in their school bag (just in case we see the sun again some time soon).

Liam - Fruit kebabs in Māori

On Friday we made fruit kebabs.  We learnt the Maori word for kiwi fruit, it is huakiwi. The Maori word for  banana is maika and grapes is karepe. We put the fruit on a stick and I had a marshmallow and banana kebab.It tasted amazing.

 Luis’s robot

On the twenty third, twenty-twenty, Luis brought a robot to M1A for news. What happens when you press the middle button and say a yes, no question is it will say either yes, no or maybe. This is the first robot for news in M1A 2020!
